Yesterday, in an act of presidential capacity, and after telling everyone over and over that it would never happen and that he would abide by the decision of the jury, Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter of his crimes – for the last 10 years.
That’s so weird, right? Why would you need to issue a blanket pardon where your son is completely absolved of any crime that he committed from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024?
Do you remember when Trump started calling Joe, Jill and Hunter the “Biden Crime Family”? Yeah, me too.
So, Donald Trump is prosecuted, convicted and dragged through the mud on 34 felony counts that no one in the United States has ever been convicted of in the history of the country and the crimes in question happened 8 or so years ago, and the left continuously beats the “no one is above the law” drum.
No one is above the law, indeed, unless, apparently, it’s Hunter Biden. Joe claims that his son didn’t get a fair shake legally, and he is probably right. Hunter Biden got an overly friendly and extremely cushy shake when it came to all his crimes considering the laptop was discovered and brought to light during the presidential election for 2020, and was immediately labeled as disinformation by the mainstream media and radical left.
And again, when the Supreme Court recently ruled that presidents have a certain level of immunity when issuing official acts as part of the office, the left continuously cried “no one is above the law” but apparently somebody is – and it’s Hunter Biden.
Despite the fact that any regular American who committed a quarter of the crimes that Hunter Biden, allegedly, did would go directly to jail and never see the light of day again, the ultimate nepo baby is once again given special treatment by his daddy.
But nobody is above the law, dear reader, nobody is above the law.
Now, I don’t want to bore you with conspiracy theories about Hunter’s company Metabiota and how they were researching bat coronaviruses in 2014 or that 2014 was the same year of the big Ukrainian coup d’état that put the current regime in office, because that would be silly to bring up so I just won’t.
What I will say is that the Biden Administration has continuously proven that they cannot be trusted to honor their word in any capacity whatsoever, and that it’s not about their party affiliation, but more that they are lifetime politicians with zero sense of the reality of America.
As the British historian, Lord Acton said: “Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely” and he was very right.
One of the funnier developments that has come about from Joe Biden’s pardon of his son’s “alleged” 10-year crime history is that after the statement was issued, X’s community notes absolutely eviscerated a previous tweet from Biden’s own account where he stated “nobody is above the law” referring to Donald Trump. Take a look:
That’s poetic justice if I’ve ever seen it.
