Outrage In the Chaos: Nothing Gets Accomplished

Nothing Gets Accomplished Part 1

By Laura Armstrong Monica

Anyone remember 2016 when we first heard students at Emory were “in pain, concerned… and frightened”… because they saw some chalk graffiti on the sidewalks of their campus? It said TRUMP and they simply couldn’t handle it. Mortified, they claimed they were “in fear of our lives…” which, inexplicably, made national headlines.

Forget a good, old fashioned war protest. Those students in 2016, now young professionals, chose to pose as Trump victims, even after watching him in movies like “Little Rascals,” “Zoolander,” the second “Home Alone” and of course “The Apprentice.” Yeah sure they were terrified.

This faux victimhood sprang from a tactic of the left, a manufactured threat cynically designed to hit both Trump and our Constitution. The viral Emory protests demonized him and also freedom to chalk, while wrapping censorship in a warm blanket of righteousness. The die was cast.

While reasonable people saw the story as a joke, others were influenced. Eight years later, I still think the chalk outrage was a hoax.

Then begat the elevation of similar exaggerated “threats to the public discourse” voiced by the left. “Misinformation” and “democracy at peril” surged through the Trump years! Egads.

I recall those on the left terrified and offended by images and toys resembling walls and fences (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/11/14/maga-build-wall-toy-looks-like-lego/2007174002/,)  — unless of course they were built around their own homes, the U.S. Capitol, or the White House.

The same people were so traumatized by the historic Gadsden and Betsey Ross flags, statues and other icons of America’s founding, they had to tear them down.  American history to Marxists = crosses to vampires.

Burning historic federal buildings and churches, St. John’s in D.C. or even Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral, somehow became acceptable to dems when previously they couldn’t stop condemning such acts.

Even the silly trickled down. The vampires, when encountering raw cotton bolls at a craft store, wailed like the sky was falling. So much racism. Realtors stopped using the descriptor “master bedroom” and airlines debated the word “cockpit.” Once-normal language triggered half the population – the half who allows male felons to be housed with defenseless women prisoners and tolerates men literally beating women in the Olympics.

We’re in crazy world, and you can thank the Marxists for almost all of it. They’ve worked decades to achieve the bedlam.
